  • Hello, I turned all the web but have not found anything satisfactory .. I need a simple plugin to use with live and MAC SNOW to perform the reverse of an audio (loops or inputs) similar to reversinator (only PPC).
    tried effectrix, majormalfunction ... but do not go well.
    plugins also made with max are well accepted.

    Not sure that's scientifically possible. :-)

  • not in real time as you can, of course, there is a physiological delay! but effects like the old reversinator or guitar rig have this kind of effect.

  • have a look on maxforlive.com, there is a device fp.reverse (http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device.php?id=163) which claims to do realtime reverse via using tapin~/tapout~ (max delay externals).
    not sure how it's done, but it's quite a professional patch.
    no matter if there is a delay or not, it does work on realtime audio

  • to use m4l (.amxd) devices you need to own an addon product for ableton live. I didn't realise that you where asking for free au/vst plugins – sorry I don't know any...

  • How about dblue's glitch? It has a reverse option that you can just solo and automate the on and off and so on.

    Dblue glitch is only for windows, on the mac side effectrix and majormalfunctions are similar.

  • i built something in sonicbirth a while ago. i'll see if i can dig it up.

  • okay, here it is. it is a dead simple buffer reverser.
    you have dry vol, wet vol faders and a drop down menu for full or half speed.
    there is an ugly gui with a graphic representation of the sound coming in and the reversal going out.
    there is no tempo sync / control.
    it does what it does when it does it.
    so you will need to download + install sonicbirth (it's free) and then drop buffer reverser in the folder that you normally have your AUs in.
    thats it. hope it works for you.
