The Orchestral Strings One – is an orchestral plugin with an incredibly realistic sound and high quality, considering its free status. DSK Strings - Strings Vst Plugin: Price: Free: Features: - 2 layers, 22 waveforms - Octave select and micro-detuner - Effects (Delay, flanger) - Midi automation. Fortunatly I gave DSK Strings a chance and cut the FX of the presets to hear the raw sounds. I was positively surprised. Best free Strings ever, but FX / presets make it sound crappy. Seems to be the weak point of DSK: Good presets;) But in the end, the raw sounds are brilliant. Free VST instruments and more Free VST VSTi plugins instruments download. Best Free Drum VST My mother always told me “march to the beat of your own drum”, but I guess she was wrong, because I found a bunch of really good free drum vsts. Amongst them, is the T.REX 606, a classic sound that could have easily cost hundreds of dollars, but for some reason is free.

Just a few days in now and trying to get better sounds out of LMMS.
From the many videos on youtube I understand DSK VSTs have very good sounds.
I have tried those, but being on W7 with version 1.1.3 only the 64 bits ones work.
So people talk about jBridge, but the converted dlls sound horrible, and I don't think
that it is because I only used the demo.
I have not found any updated list of VST on 64 bit that work nicely with LMMS on windows.
Does such a list exist anywhere? Or should I go trial and error. I am looking for anyway
way to make decent epic orchestral music, so good strings, woods and brass is key for that.
Thanks in advance!
